Coelioscopic surgery:
Video Coelioscopy surgery allows for closed abdomen operations,
with the use of a miniature video system and special surgical instruments.
The operation relies on video transmission. Small incisions are
made to allow a miniature video system and instruments to be inserted.
This technique is of particular interest, as it is less traumatic
( minimal scarring) and has reduced after-effects.
Video-coelioscopie is used for digestive and gynaecological surgery
as well as orthopaedic surgery:
hiatus hernia, inguinal hernia, gall bladder, appendix, female genital
organs.
- Plastic and reconstructive surgery:
Plastic surgery operations are often performed at the clinic. They
are aimed at modifying the appearance of the face( nose, eyelids,
sticking out ears, face-lift )and the figure ( liposuction, breast
and abdominal plastic surgery. This surgery may also be used for
treating certain tipes of scars .
Following breast removal for cancer, the bodily image changes. Reconstructive
breast surgery enables one to get one's figure back again.
- Stomatology:
The surgeons perform tooth extraction, in particular the removal
of wisdom teeth.
