Vascular surgery:
Operations for vascular surgery are performed daily at the clinic:
Endo-vascular surgery ( dilation of the arteries, carotid, bypass)
Aneurysm surgery
Varicose vein surgery
Genital surgery -Impotence ( embolization, penile implantation)
The clinic has a vascular exploratory units which enables a constant
watch to be kept on the patient from the diagnosis of the condition
until their recovery.
Endo-vascular surgery and that for aneurysm are complex operations.
They are carried out in maximum safety conditions, thanks in particular
to constant supervision (pre and post operative). At the end of
the operation, the patient is systematicaly looked after by a specialised
team. The results are monitored by angiography.
Varicose vein surgery is performed following a pulsed ultrasonic
doppler blood flowmetry. The techniques used are: CHIVA, stripping.
This operation is generally planned for outpatient surgery.
- Opthalmic surgery:
Several teams of surgeons perform all opthalmic operations.
The
field of operations includes in particular:
- Enucleation
- Keratoplasty
- Detached retina
- Glaucoma
- Congenital cataract
- Imperforation of the tear ducts
- Correction of strabismus
- Correction of short-sightedness
The
clinic is equipped with an opthalmic surgical unit with 3 rooms
including ultra-modern technical facilities.
Cataract operations are often performed at the clinic. The phacoemulisification
technique allows for fast operations under local anaesthetic. It
also has the advantage ot allowing a very short stay in hospital.
Laser surgery is also carried out for the treatment of lesions of
the retina and short sightedness. These also involve a very short
hospital stay, if not just an outpatient visit.
