History:

Situated in Paris' 5th arrondissement , adjacent to the Jardin des Plantes and its venerable foliage, the clinic occupies the site of the former Hôpital de la Pitié, founded by Marie de Medici.

Destroyed in 1912, the hospital was replaced by a new building, erected on the corner of the rue Lacépède
and rue Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire. It is here that the present Geoffroy Saint-Hilaire clinic has developed and is constantly being modernised, thus retaining the medical vocation of the site.

Le Figaro honours list 1999-2000:

The Geoffroy Saint- Hilaire clinic is amongst the top private clinics in Ile de France according to the Figaro Magazine honours list 1999-2000. The establishment comes in tenth position of the 50 best clinics in France out of a selection of 800 establishments.
